Arne Slot’s side saw their coronation as the kings of English football confirmed on April 27, following a thumping 5-1 victory over Tottenham. At that stage, they still had four top-flight fixtures left on their schedule.

Liverpool failed to win any of those, picking up just two points from a possible 12, but they have enjoyed capturing a 20th top-flight crown and revelling in public parties that were denied them when winning a first Premier League title during the Covid-19 pandemic of 2020.

The Reds finally got their hands on the much sought-after trophy on the final day of the 2024-25 campaign, with Alisson admitting that he is feeling a little drained after a month of wild celebrations.
The Brazil international goalkeeper told : "To be honest I am a little bit tired of partying! Four weeks in a row celebrating after the game against Spurs. Today everything is full, everything is complete, we will celebrate a lot."
