Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Alexandre Letellier and his young family have reportedly been subjected to a violent burglary at their Yvelines home.

The incident in question is said to have taken place in the early hours of Tuesday morning. At around 2 am, the PSG custodian and his partner were awoken by the triggering of their alarm – which alerted them to an intrusion in their garden.

According to , the police were called immediately. There was, however, time for the criminals in question to enter Letellier’s house and kidnap the couple – along with their two young children. A frightening ordeal saw jewellery demanded at knifepoint.

Letellier’s partner is said to have been hit in the face, with the ordeal only coming to an end when police forces arrived. Three of the burglars involved were arrested and taken into custody by the Versailles judicial police.

One of the suspects arrested was 21 years old, while the other two were just 16. Various items stolen during the raid were found in their possession and recovered. Letellier, who is third-choice keeper at PSG and has been with the Ligue 1 champions since 2020, is now recovering from the scary episode alongside his family.
