Football fans have expressed their concern over Tottenham loanee Tanguy Ndombele after a video captured his drastic transformation at Galatasaray.

Footage has emerged of the 27-year-old sporting a heavier build than before whilst playing for the Turkish side. The Frenchman appears to be struggling to get about the pitch for the Super Lig outfit, with some supporters expressing their shock at his weight gain.

The midfielder, who is on loan from Spurs, has started just five times this season for the Super Lig outfit and going by his lack of minutes this term, he faces an uncertain future. He joined Tottenham from Lyon for £65 million in 2019 in club-record transfer but he failed to live up to expectations and since 2021 he has had loan spells at the French side, Napoli and now Galatasaray. His career is certainly on a downward trajectory.

Ndombele was in Galatasaray boss Okan Buruk's bad books after reportedly ordering a burger despite being on a weight-loss plan. The former Amiens man was allegedly 6kg overweight back in October, supposedly frustrating his manager.
WHAT NEXT?
Ndombele is on a season-long loan at the Turkish side and his contract at Tottenham expires in the summer of 2025. In the meantime, Galatasaray are in league action on Sunday when they travel to Trabzonspor in a clash between second and third respectively.
